Flavors and Aromas of Cretan land

 I’m George Tomadakis and i live in Kato Chorio a small village in the area of Ierapetra. All year around i look after my family’s 700 olive trees and my garden of aromatic plants situated in one of my fields named “Aitria”.

Aitria in Greek means “Holy Tinity”which is fitting because the aromatic olive oils we produce are a union between the olive trees, the herbs & fruits and the sunshine from our field. In Aitria there are also trees aged more than 1200 years.

My philosophy and the way of life is to leave our small corner of the world in better shape that we found it and our cultivation practices reflect that. I'm a certified organic farmer and I simply help nature to give its fruits through a combination of traditional and innovative scientific methods.

The last years my goal is twofold: to produce the highest quality olive oil and combine that with the aromas and tastes of Crete. I have created several different infused olive oils, some of them unique in the world.

Our aromatic oils are known around the world and have been awarded (in six participations five madals) at both the Agency for Valorization of Agricultural Products (AVPA, Paris) and the Athena International Olive Oil Competition (Greece).

All the ingredients come from our garden and olive groves, and our aromatic olive oils are produced in limited quantities. Available in numbered bottles.
